Academy Dallas Cup

The Toronto FC Academy is headed back to the prestigious Dallas Cup and is doubling down by sending two squads to the 2018 edition of the tournament.

TFC III will be returning to the Gordon Jago Super Group after a strong showing in the 2017 edition of the tournament. The Super Group features top talent from around the globe. In 2017, TFC III defeated Red Bull Brazil, drew German side Eintracht Frankfurt and fell to eventual finalist Tigres UANL in the group stage.

The full list of 2018 Super Group teams are still to be announced but so far confirmed teams include Mexican sides Queretaro FC and CF Monterrey, Spanish side Real Oviedo, and Arsenal FC and Manchester United from England. 2017 Champion FC Dallas and Atlanta United are also participating in the Super Group.

In addition to TFC III, the Academy will also be sending the U-16 (2002) team down to Dallas to participate in the tournament. Their opponents are still to be announced. This year's tournament runs from March 25-April 1.
