The Toronto FC Academy U-17 team stormed back to complete an incredible come from behind victory over the Columbus Crew on Monday afternoon.
The Reds fell behind early as the Crew fired one home inside the first ten minutes. Both teams traded chances but the score stayed at 1-0 into halftime.
The Crew doubled their lead in the 55th off a penalty kick. Nick Christoffersen guessed the right way but he was not able to stop it completely and the ball trickled in behind him.
Elijah Le pulled the Reds back within one as he rose up to head in a perfectly delivered corner kick.
With just five minutes left and the Reds pressing for the equalizer, Themi Antonoglou was played into space down the left side. Antonoglou took a touch before calmly finishing with his left foot to tie the game up at twos.
Just three minutes later Ralph Priso fired home a golazo to give the Reds their first lead of the match and ultimately seal the three points.
Elsewhere in the U-17 division, FC Dallas remained undefeated with a 2-1 victory over the Colorado Rapids and the Chicago Fire took the extra point knocking off the Houston Dynamo 1-1 (4-1) on penalty kicks. Here are the current U-17 standings following the first qualifying weekend.

The qualifying tournament will resume in February to finalize the seeding for the GA Cup finals in April.
The Toronto FC Academy U-15 team bounced back from two defeats to knock off the Chicago Fire 3-0 to close out their tournament.
Juan Pablo Sanchez was on the mark early and opened the scoring for the Reds in the 7th minute.
Kobe Franklin scored his second of the tournament in the 20th minute to double the Reds’ lead.
Stefano Capano added some insurance in the 48th streaking in and finishing to the ‘keepers left.
Dino Bontis earned the shutout in his first start of the weekend.
Elsewhere in the U-15 division, the Colorado Rapids defeated the Columbus Crew 1-0.
