Toronto FC’s squad trained on the practice fields outside the Home Depot Center on Friday afternoon as they put finishing touches to preparations for Saturday’s match against Chivas USA.

Martin Saric is now rated doubtful for the match after feeling his hamstring again during Friday’s training session. Saric has travelled with the squad for the first time since leaving the goalless draw at Cruz Azul through injury last month, but after getting through training this week, the Argentine midfielder now had a small setback.

“He has been training at home this week and felt good, but on the pitch here this afternoon he felt a tweak in his hamstring,” said interim head coach Nick Dasovic.
“As a staff you would rather have those questions answered on a Friday rather than on the day of the game so he is probably a big question mark for the game now.”
“Unfortunately for Martin he has had a number of injuries this season. He is still struggling a bit but we will look after him and see when we can use him between now and the end of the season.”
Joseph Nane continues to recover from injury but is not with the squad here in California.
