Following the training session, coach Preki indicated that he is likely to make changes to the Reds’ line up for the clash with the six-time Panamanian champions.

“Depth in the squad is important and that is why we will see some different faces tomorrow,” said Preki. “It is a nice little field here. We are used to training and playing on turf so we will be good to go.”

“Certainly we expect a very tough game here. They are a very tough team to play against here and we will have to be on our toes from the first moment,” explained the coach.

With a stadium that holds just 3000 fans, Toronto captain Dwayne De Rosario doesn’t expect too much of a hostile atmosphere at game time, but he knows his team will have to adapt to playing on an artificial surface.

“It is a turf pitch so I am sure they will try to work that to their favour,” said De Rosario. “It is actually good turf and is a lot better than I thought it would be. It is humid here and rains quite often so it is important that we play the surface quite smartly. Most importantly we can’t afford to get guys injured because we have a lot of big games coming up.”

“This team will be coming at us. We can’t get caught up into the tricks of trying to embellish fouls and get the referee to make calls. It’s not too big of a stadium so I don’t think the fans will be too much of an issue. I think it is a game that we can come away from with something. If we get a point that’s great, if we get all three it’s even better.”
