Mista Cleared For Duty

Toronto FC striker Mista has now been cleared to make his debut for the team. The Spanish striker was forced to watch on from the stands as Toronto lost 2-1 at Philadelphia Union on Saturday as the club awaited his International Transfer Certificate.

All of the necessary documents have now been received from the Spanish Football Federation allowing Mista to pull on the red TFC jersey for the first time. He could now make his debut in the Carlsberg Cup international friendly against Bolton Wanderers at BMO Field on Wednesday night (kick off 7:30 p.m. live online on Toronto FC TV).

Defender Dan Gargan and midfielder Martin Saric are unlikely to play against Bolton. Gargan is still recovering from a groin injury that forced him out of the match in Philadelphia late in the second half. Saric missed the trip with a leg injury and has not yet returned to training.
