Toronto FC Academy in conjunction with League1 Ontario (L1ON) announced today the complete 2024 regular season schedule for the League1 Ontario Men’s Championship Division.

The TFC Academy U-19 squad will open the 2024 regular season on the road against Darby FC on Friday, April 26, at Telus Dome and complete regular season play at home against Darby FC on Saturday, August 24, at BMO Training Ground. The U-19s are set to compete in the L1ON Men’s Championship Division (the second tier of the league), which includes 18 matches, nine home and nine away, during the 2024 regular season. Following two road games to open the season, the Academy will host Windsor City FC on Saturday, May 11 in the club’s home opener at BMO Training Ground. All home games will be played on Saturdays and held at BMO Training Ground during the 2024 season. TFC Academy will play 11 games on Saturdays, six on Fridays, and one on Sunday. The club will see the most action in June as the U-19s are scheduled to compete in five games, followed by four games in May, July, and August, and one in April. In addition to the regular season, TFC Academy will also participate in the League1 Cup during the 2024 season. This tournament will be played concurrently with the regular season and the Cup Final is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 7. The first round of matches was announced earlier this week and placed Toronto FC Academy against North Toronto in the Round of 16 set for Friday, April 19, at Esther Shiner Stadium.

TFC Academy, an inaugural L1ON license holder, played in the league for five seasons (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018) and won the first L1ON Men’s Division in 2014. Most recently, TFC Academy U-19s participated in the 2023 L1ON Men’s U-19 Fall Reserve League, recording a perfect regular season record before winning the championship final against Sigma FC on November 18, 2023.
