Adrian Cann, Chad Barrett and Martin Saric all sat out as Toronto FC returned to training at BMO Field on Tuesday. Cann and Barrett left Saturday’s defeat at Chivas USA with injury and Saric suffered a recurrence of his hamstring strain in training the day before the match.

“I’m not sure whether Adrian will be available for any of the remaining games because he has a broken nose,” said Interim Head Coach Nick Dasovic after practice on Tuesday. “Chad and Martin are day-to-day and we will make decisions as the games come up. Joseph Nane has been training with us for the last week, so we just need to get him back to match fitness.”
Barrett said Tuesday that he asked to be removed from the game at The Home Depot Center as a precaution after feeling his hamstring and at this stage he hopes to be available for Saturday’s match at home to Columbus.
Three trialists joined in with training and Dasovic will continue to look at players between now and the end of the season. “We are in a position now where we know we are out of the playoffs and, although we don’t know who will be the GM or Coach next season, we are moving forward working for the club. We will bring in young talent that we can look at. We want young, hungry kids that want to be part of this organization,” said Dasovic.
Toronto FC Junior Academy Team goalkeeper Chad Bush also trained with the first team on Tuesday.
Captain Dwayne De Rosario will miss the final MLS home match of the season against Columbus on Saturday serving a one match suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season in the Chivas match.
