Richie Laryea and Federico Bernardeschi proved to be difference makers on Matchday 4 as Toronto FC captured its first win of the 2023 campaign with a 2-0 result over Inter Miami CF.
The right side of the TFC attack was firing on all cylinders at BMO Field as both Laryea and Bernardeschi have been named to MLSsoccer.com's Matchday 4 Team of the Matchday.
The opening goal of the match came through a beautiful team effort with Bernardeschi and Laryea combining to find Jonathon Osorio who made no mistake with the finish in the 47th minute.
Bernardeschi performed some set-piece magic off a free kick in the 69th minute, floating the ball towards the far post where Mark-Anthony Kaye rose highest to put the Reds up 2-0.
