The Canadian Classique between Toronto FC and CF Montréal set for the Reds’ 2027 Home Opener and regular season finale against Inter Miami CF
Major League Soccer (MLS) and Toronto FC today announced the complete 14-game schedule for the 2027 MLS Sprint Season, taking place from February through May, as MLS transitions into its new summer-to-spring competition calendar beginning in July 2027.
“As we release our 2027 Sprint Season schedule, we want to start by recognizing our fans and supporters and the incredible commitment they continue to show Toronto FC year in and year out,” said Chris Shewfelt, Vice President, Business Operations, Toronto FC. “We’ve also listened closely to feedback from our fans. With matches beginning in late February and early March, we worked to establish start times that are more favourable for the fan experience, while still being appropriate for the time of year and Toronto conditions. The schedule is only one part of what we’re working on. We continue to think about how we can make every matchday at BMO Field more welcoming, engaging and fan friendly. Additional enhancements to the fan and venue experience, and theme nights, will be announced shortly.”
TFC will open their regular season away for the ninth consecutive season in club history. The Reds will kick off their 2027 campaign against Atlanta United at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday, February 20 (7:00 p.m. ET), before the highly anticipated Home Opener against Canadian rivals CF Montréal at BMO Field on Saturday, February 27, with kickoff set to 3:00 p.m. ET.
