Toronto FC fell to expansion side St. Louis CITY SC 1-0 in their first-ever meeting at BMO Field.

Interim Head Coach Terry Dunfield made four changes to the Starting XI with Tomas Romero, Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty, Deandre Kerr and CJ Sapong entering the fold for Greg Ranjitsingh, Alonso Coello, Kosi Thompson and Federico Bernardeschi.

After a scoreless first half, the game's only goal came in the 50th minute as Aziel Jackson fired home from close range.

TFC return to action on Saturday, July 15 as they hit the road to take on Chicago Fire FC.
