Toronto FC announced Monday that midfielder Victor Vazquez underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Friday. The procedure requires a six- to eight-week recovery period. As result, Vazquez will be out of the line-up for the final three matches of the season.

This season, Vazquez made 26 appearances with 8 goals and 9 assists across MLS league play and Concacaf Champions League.
