TORONTO – News of Jozy Altidore's suspension became available on Wednesday afternoon. On Friday, head coach Greg Vanney revealed just how long Toronto FC would be without their star striker.

Meeting with the media following training, Vanney confirmed Altidore will only miss the first leg of the Eastern Conference Championship. “It’s just the one game for Jozy,” he said. “He’ll be available for the second leg.”

The rest of the squad remained committed to the task with yet another day on the training pitch. Despite missing their top two forwards, the team remains confident heading into the first leg in Columbus.

"We've been down players at times all season, but we have very good depth," defender Drew Moor said. "We have guys ready to step in."
