Toronto FC III took home an important three points after a convincing 5-1 victory over North Mississauga SC.
Luca Petrasso opened the scoring in the 22nd minute as he finished past the North Mississauga ‘keeper.
Mississauga tied it up just before the halftime whistle as Jonathan Jebbison dribbled his way past Gianluca Catalano and scored.
Catalano made a great stop in the early minutes of the second half to deny North Mississauga their second.
Petrasso gave the Reds the lead again as he buried his 2nd of the game.
Petrasso scored his third of the match in the 81st and his fourth in the 84th. Substitute Zak Abdi scored the fifth for the Reds in the 90th.
The win moves the Reds to 12-4-3 on the season, good for third place in the Men’s West division. Next up is a match against Prostars FC on September 30th at 11:30 AM.
