New England Revolution 2, Toronto FC 1 | 2017 MLS Match Recap

The New England Revolution used late goals from Lee Nguyen and Kei Kamara to defeat Toronto FC 2-1 Saturday evening at Gillette Stadium.

Making his first appearance off the bench this season, Nguyen put the Revs ahead when his shot deflected off Toronto defender Drew Moor and past goalkeeper Clint Irwin who had already committed the other way. Toronto answered right away when Nicolas Hasler's kinda-cross found its way over Cody Cropper and in. Kamara put the Revs back on top when he rose up to head in a corner kick.

The win was New England's first under interim coach Tom Soehn, who took over for Jay Heaps earlier this week.
