Vanney, four Reds headline the Week 27 MLS Team of the Week

TOTW 27

The Reds just keep on rolling, and the MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week politburo has taken notice.

Following a dominating performance at home, four players have been named to the starting XI of the Week 27 TOTW in MLS.

Anchoring the backline to yet another clean sheet, Drew Moor gets the nod in the TOTW for the third time this season. The veteran defender also pitched in on the attacking, helping to set up the game's second goal.

Finishing off that goal was none other than Jozy Altidore. The forward has been on a tear of late as the American international bagged a brace on Saturday night, goals #50 and #51 of his MLS career in the regular season.

Victor Vazquez assisted on one of those goals after opening the scoring with a tally of his own in the first half. The Spanish sensation was unplayable on the day, completing 117 passes to leave San Jose helpless in defence.

Meanwhile, Steven Beitashour marked his return to the starting lineup with a stellar performance of his own. Not only did the fullback stymie any attacks down the flank, but the San Jose native was instrumental going forward, pitching in with two assists from the wing.

At the helm, Greg Vanney once again pushed all the right buttons. His side hardly skipped a beat following the international break, picking up right where they left off with their fifth-straight, multi-goal win. "The Gregfather" was selected as the Coach of the Week for the fourth time this season.
