Toronto FC announced Monday that defender Nick Hagglund has been diagnosed with a left MCL sprain. He is expected to be out of the line-up for 6-8 weeks. The injury occurred in the first half of Saturday’s 4-1 victory over the Portland Timbers.

Toronto FC returns to action on Saturday, August 19 against the Chicago Fire at Toyota Park. Kickoff is at 8:00 p.m. ET and the match will broadcast on TSN 1 and TSN 4.
