Altidore, Bradley Added to USMNT 2017 Gold Cup Squad

Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley and forward Jozy Altidore have been added to the United States roster for the knockout round of the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup.


Bradley, 29, has earned 133 caps scoring 17 goals for the U.S. throughout his career. Bradley has appeared and started in 19 matches, registering two assists (MLS and the Canadian Championship) for TFC this season. He has been named to the MLS Team of the Week twice this season for Weeks 8 and 16.


Altidore, 27, has earned 104 caps scoring 37 goals for the U.S. throughout his career. Altidore has appeared in 19 matches registering nine goals and five assists (MLS and the Canadian Championship) for TFC this season. He was also named to the MLS Team of the Week for Week 9 and was on the bench for Week 3.


The United States finished on top of its group for the 13th time in 14 CONCACAF Gold Cup tournaments and will await Sunday’s Group C results to learn its opponent for Wednesday’s Quarterfinal in Philadelphia.
