Toronto FC forward Jordan Hamilton has been named to Major League Soccer roster for the 2017 MLS Homegrown Game presented by Energizer. The MLS squad will meet Chivas de Guadalajara’s Under-20 team in the fourth annual Homegrown Game. The match will be held on Tuesday, August 1 at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Illinois. Kick-off is set for 8:00 p.m. ET.

Hamilton is currently in his fourth season with Toronto FC. In 2014, he became the ninth player to sign for the TFC first team from the Academy. Hamilton has split time between Toronto FC and Toronto FC II this season. With Toronto FC, he has made nine combined appearances, registering two goals and three assists between MLS league matches and the Canadian Championship. As a member of Toronto FC II, he has appeared in four matches, scoring one goal.

This match will mark Hamilton’s second MLS Homegrown Game. He joins Ashtone Morgan (2014) and Jay Chapman (2015 & 2016) on Toronto FC’s all-time MLS Homegrown Game player list.
