Dynamic Duo Named to Week 19 MLS Team of the Week

Bouncing back on the road is never easy, but Toronto FC's dynamic duo made it look that way in a 3-1 win over Orlando City SC on Wednesday night.

Sebastian Giovinco was named to the starting XI of the Week 19 MLS Team of the Week thanks to his stellar performance against the Lions. The Italian was up to his old tricks, assisting the game-opener before bagging two goals of his own, including a Goal of the Week nominee to seal the win off a bending free kick.

Jozy Altidore more than did his part on the night, good enough for a spot on the Team of the Week bench. After staking the Reds to an early 1-0 lead, Altidore passed up on a golden opportunity to notch a brace of his own. Slipped behind the defence in a 1v1 situation with the keeper, Altidore elected to hold the play up and lay it off to Giovinco for the game's second goal.

So why not take it yourself, Jozy?

"I think it's more important that everybody is on a roll, in a good groove and a good rhythm," Altidore said after the match. "I think it's just better for the team. The more options we have, the better. It's important to keep them going, and it's just as important to keep me going. In the end, he gets the goal. His confidence is flowing and he gets a beautiful free kick, so I'm happy for him."

Talk about teamwork.
