Toronto FC announced Monday that the club has sent forward Bright Dike on loan to NASL club, San Antonio Scorpions. As per club and league policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“With our current depth at forward it can be difficult to get match minutes for every player,” said Toronto FC General Manager Tim Bezbatchenko. "This loan will give Bright an opportunity to play regularly and remain sharp in a professional environment."

Dike, 28, has appeared in 11 matches, registering one goal and one assist for Toronto FC in MLS action. He was originally acquired in a trade with the Portland Timbers on September 9, 2013.
