A pair of Toronto FC youngsters have been recalled by Canada’s Men’s U-20 Team for a trio of friendlies in preparation for January’s 2015 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship.

Forward Jordan Hamilton and midfielder Manny Aparicio were selected by head coach Rob Gale for friendlies versus England, Russia and the United States.

The match against the Three Lions will take place in Bournemouth, England while the other two fixtures will be held in Marbella, Spain.

Canada will play England at Dean Court on Wednesday, November 12th. The matches against Russia and USA take place on November 15th and November 18th.

“First and foremost, a game against England in England is, from my point of view, as big a game as it gets,” said Gale in a press release issued by Canada Soccer.

“It’s great for the lads. And then we get to travel into Spain to play Russia and the United States who are the benchmark in CONCACAF along with Mexico.”

Hamilton spent the 2014 campaign with the USL’s Wilmington Hammerheads before joining C.D. Trofense, a club in Portugal’s second division, on loan. The 18-year-old made five appearances for the Portuguese side.

Aparicio, 19, split his 2014 season between Wilmington and TFC's first team, and registered his first senior national team cap during Canada’s 1-0 loss to Colombia in October.
