Reds Team Up For Camp Trillium

MLSE-TeamUpChallange

On Sunday, June 22, 2014, over 900 amateur athletes, 100 volunteers and 75 families from Camp Trillium spent a sports filled day at the second annual MLSE Team Up Challenge presented by Ford and your Toronto Area Ford Dealers.

Toronto FC’s Doneil Henry, Jonathon Osorio, Dwayne De Rosario and Jeremy Hall teamed up with the amateur athletes at BMO Field to provide game day coaching.

In the province of Ontario, each year 400 parents hear the words "your child has cancer." This unique, one-day tournament saw teams compete in basketball, ball hockey and soccer to raise more than $600,000 to support Camp Trillium and send over 100 children battling cancer and their families to camp. Funds raised through MLSE Team Up Challenge will go towards sending more than 100 families to Camp Trillium.

Special thank you to presenting partner Ford and your Toronto Area Ford Dealers, associates partners Air Canada, Scotiabank, Scotts, restaurant partner The Keg Steakhouse + Bar and breakfast partner Boom Breakfast & Co., who made this amazing event in support of Camp Trillium possible.
