Canada Arrives In Puerto Rico

Canada has arrived in San Juan, Puerto Rico in advance of its Tuesday match in CONCACAF Stage 2 of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. The team arrived early Monday evening, just over 48 hours out from its 8 p.m. ET kickoff on September 6 against Puerto Rico.

Canada leads Group D of CONCACAF Stage 2 with three points following a 4-1 victory over St. Lucia on Friday, September 2 at BMO Field in Toronto. That same night, Puerto Rico drew 0-0 with St. Kitts and Nevis. While Canada visits Puerto Rico on Tuesday, St. Kitts and Nevis visits St. Lucia.

After the Friday match, the Canadian team spent an additional day in Toronto before traveling to Puerto Rico on Sunday. Canada will be back on the pitch for the official training session on Monday at the Estadio Juán Rámon Loubriel.
