Toronto Takes To The Road

Toronto FC will look to reverse recent fortunes on Saturday night, but it won't be easy. The Reds - on a five game league winless streak (3 draws, two losses) - will be in Carson, California against the top team in MLS. It's Los Angeles v. Toronto - GOL TV Canada^, 10:30 p.m. ET.

Toronto's last win came on May 7 when the Reds defeated Houston 2-1 at home in a breakout match for Joao Plata. Since then insconsistent performances have plagued TFC. Case in point, their last road game was an encouraging scoreless draw at MLS Cup champion Colorado. Since then Toronto dropped five of six points at home. They enter the weekend as one of seven teams that have yet to win away from home. The team will welcome back attacking options Alan Gordon, Jacob Peterson and Gianluca Zavarise, but do without defender Nana Attakora.
