I spent Monday morning at the Canadian International Auto Show with the Flipcam, where the Kia exhibit at the South Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre certainly had an unique Toronto FC flavour.




We met up with Danny Dichio, Julian de Guzman and some TFC staff members upstairs (thanks Jeff P. for getting my ticket) before heading down to the floor.  There was a crowd waiting for the Reds and throughout their 90 minute autograph session, between shirt and ball giveaways to go with the lineups, there wasn't a moment of rest.




One great thing about these appearances is you get to speak to the fans and gauge the pulse of the base. Danny and JDG had enough on their plate. The fans are the stars of the video below and of course, the 2011 Toronto FC Special Edition Kia Sportage.

Most of the TFC players left for Orlando early Monday morning ... Dwayne De Rosario and Julian de Guzman will join the team in Florida Monday night ... TFC is to hold a practice session Monday at 5 p.m. in Orlando ... Ty Harden will represent Toronto at the Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic media event on Tuesday ... Head coach Aron Winter will face Major League Soccer opposition for the first time on Thursday, February 24 when Toronto takes on Houston at 8 p.m. in the Disney Classic ... Toronto v. Houston will be streamed live on TorontoFC.ca, as will a second match on Saturday, February 26 when the Reds face either MLS Cup finalist FC Dallas or Orlando City.
