Saturday Broadcast Info

Toronto FC has been avoiding the term 'must win game' for a few weeks but that was under former coach Preki and prior to last Saturday's shocking 1-0 loss at home to last-in-league DC United. This week Toronto faces another last place team - Houston Dynamo - that occupies the Western Conference basement. Preki's replacement Nick Dasovic will lead Toronto into Robertson Stadium. The Reds desperately need three points if they are to stay relevant in the playoff picture ahead of the October 2 match in Seattle. The Sounders are holding down the final postseason place at the moment.

Houston won MLS Cup with now-Toronto player Dwayne De Rosario in 2006 and 2007.  Having the second worst record in MLS is disappointing for their fans and remaining players from those championship squads. A Toronto team that has trouble on the road will give Houston the confidence to increase their points haul as playoffs have all but slipped away.

The match will be broadcast live on Rogers Sportsnet at 8:30 p.m., Saturday, September 18. Gerry Dobson and Craig Forrest are expected to make the call.

Pregame and postgame shows will be on GOL TV Canada starting at 8:00 p.m.
