Toronto is a point closer to clinching its second straight Nutrilite Canadian Championship after a scoreless draw in Vancouver.

The Whitecaps must now win in Montreal on Matchday 5 and steal three points from Toronto on the final NCC night on June 2. 

Toronto would only need a draw from the final encounter, provided the Whitecaps beat Montreal.

Vancouver controlled most of the possession in this match but could not finish. The game was delayed on Sportsnet both on television and its online stream by a half hour, forcing Asif Hossain and Luke Wileman to count on second hand reports from Swangard Stadium in Vancouver.
