Toronto FC will take on Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the 2016 Amway Canadian Championship finals. The Reds will host the first leg at BMO Field on Tuesday, June 21 with kick-off set for 7:30 p.m. ET and the second leg will be played at BC Place in Vancouver on Wednesday, June 29 with kick-off set for 10:00 p.m. ET. The team that has the better aggregate score from the two matches will raise the Voyageurs Cup and earn the right to represent Canada in the 2017-2018 CONCACAF Champions League.

The 2016 Amway Canadian Championship is the ninth tournament in Toronto FC history. The Reds have won the tournament four times, which is more than any other club. Toronto FC’s championships came in successive seasons (2009 to 2012). The Reds are 4-3-5 all-time against the Vancouver Whitecaps FC in Canadian Championship play.
