Toronto FC faced off against Western Conference foes LA Galaxy on Wednesday night, battling to a 2-2 draw at BMO Field.
The Reds fell behind in the 24th minute after a Douglas Costa free kick found the top corner.
After a trio of second half substitutions, forward Jesús Jiménez equalized off the bench in the 62nd minute, his team-leading ninth goal of the season in league play.
With just over ten minutes remaining in the match, Federico Bernardeschi raced to the byline, drawing a penalty after a late challenge from former Red Raheem Edwards. The Italian international capitalized from the subsequent spot kick to put the Reds ahead 2-1.
But the three points were not to be on the night as LA's Riqui Puig fired home a long-range equalizer in the 89th minute.
