Toronto FC 2, Chicago Fire 2

Substitute Alan Gordon scored in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time to complete the Chicago Fire's comeback and earn a 2-2 away draw at Toronto FC on Saturday afternoon.

Bastian Schweinsteiger cut the deficit in half for Chicago midway through the second half, then served the ball into the box that led to Gordon's equalizer on nearly the final kick of the game.

Toronto held a 2-0 lead with less than half of the opening 45 minutes played after Sebastian Giovinco set up Jonathan Osorio's opener and Victor Vazquez lofted a well-weighted finish over 'keeper Richard Sanchez.

But less than 72 hours after the heartbreak of losing the Concacaf Champions League final to Chivas of Guadalajara on penalties, Toronto appeared to tire in the second half. It took six saves from Alex Bono, including the denial of Schweinsteiger's penalty late in the first half, to ensure that Toronto earned at least a point.
