Toronto FC forward Prince Owusu has been named to the Major League Soccer (MLS) Team of the Matchday 9 following his performance off the bench in the Redsā 3-2 road loss against Charlotte FC this past Saturday.
Entering the match at the start of the second half, Prince Owusu made an instant impact when he tapped home Federico Bernardeschiās low cross to equalize for the Reds in the 49th minute. Owusu then doubled his tally for the night when he converted Jahkeele Marshall-Ruttyās cross for TFCās second equalizer in the 78th minute. The performance marked Owusuās first brace for Toronto FC and the Germanās Matchday 9 selection as a substitute marks his first-ever MLS Team of the Matchday honour.
