New Shirt Gets Player Approval

The club’s new home jerseys have arrived in Toronto! After returning from training in Oakville on Wednesday morning, the players had their first chance to check out the jersey at BMO Field.

Two of the main differences compared to 2009-2010 are the addition of grey sleeves and the removal of the collar. The jerseys are now available to buy exclusively at Real Sports Apparel, located at Maple Leaf Square next to Air Canada Centre.

“This uniform really signifies the unity of the team and togetherness with the fans and the community.” said Toronto FC captain Dwayne De Rosario. “It’s a nice touch to have the Canadian flag in the background on the front of the jersey and shows the pride of Canada. It also has All For One on the back which is our team motto. We’re all really looking forward to wearing this in the season opener.”

“I really like having the Canadian flag as part of the jersey,” said defender Nana Attakora. “It’s something unique and is nice to have on the jersey. We all really like it.”
