Match Recap: TFC 4, NE 1

SebastianGiovinco is on fire.

The reigning Landon Donovan MVP came into Saturday night's game having collected four goals and three assists in his last three games and he added to that total against the New England Revolution as Toronto FC beat the Revs 3-0.

Giovinco scored two fantastic goals in the first half as Toronto killed off the rest of the game. His first came in the 20th minute as a Toronto corner kick ended up back on his corner kick. The Atomic Ant blasted it with the outside of his right foot, curling it around Kei Kamara and past BobbyShuttleworth.

He followed it up nine minutes later, curling a ball over Shuttleworth from the top left corner of the Revs' 18. Giovinco then added a penalty kick to complete his second hat trick in four games. The win marks four straight at home for Toronto as they now sit just one pointbehind New York City FC in the Eastern Conference.
