Toronto FC midfielder Nick LaBrocca has been named the club’s Esquire Community Player of the Month for June. LaBrocca joined TFC from Colorado in pre-season and has been active in the community.

Last month LaBrocca took time to speak with students at St. Andrew elementary school in Vaughan who had been raising funds for autism. He also volunteered his time to help coach in the North by North East charity soccer match.

Ahead of kick off in the Reds win over the Rapids at BMO Field on  Saturday, LaBrocca was presented with an Esquire watch by Frank Modugno from Marcello Jewellers.

“Being out in the community is a huge part of our job,“ LaBrocca told Toronto FC TV. “Fans show us so much support so it is very important for us to give back.”
