DANONE Nations Cup is the largest youth soccer tournament in the world. This year 40 countries will participate in the 2012 World Final played in Japan.
This exciting soccer experience is open to Under-12 and U-11 players, male or female, during the 2012 season.
Toronto FC Academy coaches will evaluate players based on pre-planned drills and game situation play. The names of 20 skilled players from each host club will advance to the next round of tryouts on October 22 at Downsview Park.
Unselected players who attended a Club Day tryout will be randomly chosen to tryout again on October 22. This is an excellent opportunity for U-12 and U-11 players to show their skills to TFC Academy coaches, who are always looking for talented young individuals for the future.
Youth players are invited to enjoy the day, meet a TFC Academy coach, receive an autographed TFC pennant and of course sample some yogurt courtesy of Danone.
