Michael Bradley is on the mend. The Toronto FC midfielder underwent successful surgery to repair nerve damage in his foot on Tuesday. Bradley, 27, was bothered by the injury for most of the season. Bradley’s surgery took place in New York.

The American international played all 90 minutes in TFC’s final game of the season in New England. Bradley’s year was a busy one. The World Cup along with the grind of the MLS regular season didn’t allow the American a chance to get the procedure on his foot. With some much needed rest in order, Bradley is set to be 100% healthy heading into 2015.
