Picking up his seventh clean sheet of the season was no easy task, but Alex Bono more than earned it with this highlight-reel save.

With the Reds up 3-0 at BMO Field, the result was all but ensured, but the shutout was not. Philadelphia Union midfielder Ilsinho uncorked a blazing effort from distance that looked destined for the top corner, but a sprawling Bono got a piece of it to tip it off the crossbar and away from danger.

Garnering 36% of the fan vote, Bono bested Vancouver’s David Ousted, Seattle’s Stefan Frei, LA’s Jon Kempin and New England’s Cody Cropper to win his second Save of the Week of the season (Week 17).
