Toronto remains unbeaten against Montreal over six matches (five wins, one draw), after beating the Impact 1-0 on Wednesday night at Stade Saputo.

Dwayne De Rosario scored the winner at the 73rd minute, tapping in a rebound after Montreal keeper Matt Jordan stopped Chad Barrett shot, only for the ball to fall to the foot of the TFC captain, who netted his seventh goal in nine games across all competitions. 

The win means Toronto eliminates Montreal from the three-team Nutrilite Canadian Champions, and that only Vancouver can keep the Reds from repeating as champs in 2010. The standings are as follows:
