Athlete of the Month: Steven Furlano
At the end of every month, a panel of Toronto FC Academy staff selects the Academy athlete that best emulates the Toronto FC core value of the month to be Athlete of the Month. Toronto FC’S Eight Core Values are: Hard work, Accountability, Learning, Communication, Results, Integrity, Collaboration and Innovation. For the month of February, we would like to recognize an athlete who truly embodies the first of Toronto FC’s eight core values – Hard Work. This month’s athlete of the month is Steven Furlano. Throughout the month of January, Steven Furlano continuously demonstrated his commitment and work ethic while training and participating in matches. He consistently carries himself in a professional manner, acting as a great leader and a great role model for what it means to persevere and work hard.
