Toronto FC send Jordan Perruzza on loan to San Antonio FC

Toronto FC announced today that forward Jordan Perruzza has been loaned to San Antonio FC of the USL Championship.


Perruzza, 20, has appeared in two games for Toronto FC in 2021. He made his debut with TFC’s first team on April 14, 2021, when he came off the bench against Club Leon, and three days later (April 17, 2021), he made his MLS debut against CF Montreal. Perruzza originally signed with Toronto FC as a Homegrown Player on August 20, 2020, becoming the 24th player in the club’s history to sign for the first team from the Toronto FC Academy. Perruzza went on a short loan spell to San Antonio FC in September 2020, where he made six appearances and scored three goals. Before joining San Antonio FC, Perruzza spent two seasons with Toronto FC II, where he made 28 appearances with 17 goals and two assists. During the 2019 season, he led the club in goals scored with 15 and was second in goals scored in USL League One. He made his professional debut for Toronto FC II on September 16, 2018, against FC Cincinnati. 


Internationally, Perruzza represented the U-20 Canada National Team at the 2018 Concacaf Men’s Under-20 Championship.
