As announced by Canada Soccer on Thursday, Toronto FC is set to represent Canada in the 2021 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League. The Reds will kick off the competition against Liga MX side Club León in the Round of 16.
The two-legged tie will begin on Wednesday, April 7, at 8 p.m. in León, Mexico, followed by the return leg on Wednesday, April 14, at 6 p.m. in Orlando, Florida. The Orlando venue will be announced at a later date.
The Reds return to the competition for the first time since 2019, marking the club's seventh appearance in the region's premier club competition. Toronto FC is one of only four MLS clubs to reach a final of the Concacaf Champions League, finishing as runners up to C.D. Guadalajara in 2018.
