Charity Shield

The Toronto FC Academy U-14 and U-15 teams are off to the OPDL Charity Shield finals following a pair of semifinal victories on Sunday. The Charity Shield is the OPDL's playoff competition.

The U-14s (2003) knocked off North Toronto U-15s 3-0. Goals from Stefano Capano, Juan Pablo Sanchez, and Charlie Bontis paced the Reds.

The U-15s (2002) defeated the Burlington U-16s in dramatic fashion, taking the game 3-2. Julian Altobelli, Cameron DaSilva and Joshua Solomon had the goals for the Reds.

Both teams will now play for the coveted Charity Shield on Sunday, November 5th.
