Match Recap: Toronto FC III vs. Oakville Blue Devils

TFC III vs. OAK

Toronto FC III played to a 3-3 draw against the west division leading Oakville Blue Devils on Sunday afternoon at the Kia Training Grounds.


The visiting Blue Devils jumped out to the early lead after the Reds were called for a handball in the box. Filipe Vilela slotted home the PK past Gianluca Catalano.


TFC III fired back in the 19th minute as Cyrus Rollocks broke in behind the Oakville backline and finished his team-leading 14th goal of the season.


Just two minutes later Daniel DaSilva gave the Reds the lead as he finished to the bottom left.


Rollocks added to the lead in the 55th minute as he fired home his 15th of the season.


Oakville cut the lead to one with just 5 minutes left in regulation and tied the game on a Reds' own goal late into injury time.


TFC III is now 11-4-3 on the season, good for third place in the west division. Next up for the Reds is a meeting with North Mississauga at 8:30 PM on Saturday at the Hershey Centre Indoor.
