Match Recap: Toronto FC III at OSU Force

Toronto FC III head home from the nation's capital with a big three road points following a victory over Ottawa South United Force on Saturday afternoon in League1 Ontario play. 


The Reds got off to a hot start with Cyrus Rollocks opening the scoring just three minutes into the match. Daniel Da Silva played in Rollocks who made no mistake tucking home the opener. 


Da Silva doubled the Reds' lead in the 22nd minute off a free-kick. The forward jumped up to meet the ball with his head and send it over a leaping OSU 'keeper. 


The Reds dominated the remainder of the play in the first half and it went into the break at 2-0. 


Jordan Faria added the third goal for the Reds on a deflection from outside the area. 


OSU added a late goal but the Reds held on for the 3-1 victory. The win moves the Reds to 9-2-2 on the season, good for third place in the West Division. TFC III are now undefeated in their last 10 matches in League 1. Next up for the thrice is a meeting with North Toronto on the 13th at the Kia Training Ground.
