Toronto FC selected Syracuse centre-back Skylar Thomas with the 11th pick in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft.
Thomas started 19 games in his senior season with Syracuse, helping the Orange tie for fifth in the NCAA for the fewest goals allowed (12). ‘Cuse also led the ACC with 12 shutouts.
The Pickering, ONT. native was a two-time captain for the Orange during his four-year career.
In 2014, he was named All-ACC Second Team and NSCAA All-South Region Second Team.
