Toronto FC recall Jordan Perruzza from loan

Toronto FC announced today that the club has recalled forward Jordan Perruzza from San Antonio FC of the USL Championship. Perruzza, 20, scored one goal in six appearances for San Antonio FC during the 2021 USL Championship season.

Prior to his loan to San Antonio, Perruzza appeared in two games for Toronto FC in 2021. He made his debut with TFC’s first team on April 14, 2021, when he came off the bench against Club Leon in the Scotia Bank Concacaf Champions League. Perruzza made his MLS debut against CF Montreal on April 17, 2021. 

Perruzza also went on a short loan spell to San Antonio FC during the 2020 season, when he made six appearances and scored three goals. A Homegrown Player, Perruzza spent two seasons with Toronto FC II, where he scored 17 goals and added two assists in 28 appearances. During the 2019 season, he led TFC II with 15 goals, which ranked second in USL League One.
