Toronto FC loan Luke Singh to FC Edmonton

Toronto FC announced today that defender Luke Singh has been loaned to FC Edmonton of the Canadian Premier League through December 2022.

Singh, 21, made a combined eight appearances and scored one goal for Toronto FC during the 2021 season. He also spent time with Toronto FC II, making seven appearances and scoring two goals for the Young Reds. Singh originally signed with Toronto FC as a Homegrown Player on April 16, 2021 and made his MLS debut on April 17 against CF Montreal. In 2019, Singh joined Toronto FC II and was sent on loan to Danish football club Brøndby IF for the remainder of the season, where he made 24 appearances and scored two goals for Brøndby. Before joining the Young Reds, Singh spent two seasons with the Toronto FC Academy. During the 2018 season, he appeared in 10 matches with the Toronto FC Academy U-18/U-19 team, registering one goal. Singh originally joined the Toronto FC Academy in January 2017.

Internationally, Singh has represented Trinidad & Tobago at the youth level at the 2018 Concacaf U-20 Championship.
