Toronto FC loan forward Jordan Perruzza to Halifax Wanderers FC

Toronto FC has sent forward Jordan Perruzza on loan to Halifax Wanderers FC of the Canadian Premier League (CPL) for the remainder of the 2023 season, the club announced today.

Perruzza, 22, is in his third season with Toronto FC where he appeared in six games for the Reds. The Toronto, Ontario native has made a combined 30 appearances across all competitions (MLS regular season, Canadian Championship, Concacaf Champions League and Leagues Cup) scoring two goals since joining the club as a Homegrown Player on August 20, 2020. He made his First Team debut against Club Len on April 14, 2021 and scored his first TFC goal against Atlanta United on October 30, 2021.

Perruzza also spent time with Toronto FC II, scoring 19 goals through a combined 42 appearances across all competitions (USL Championship, US League One, MLS NEXT Pro and MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs). During the 2019 season, he was nominated for USL League One Young Player of the Year after scoring a club-leading 15 goals and was selected to the 2019 USL "20 Under 20." He originally joined the Toronto FC Academy in January 2013.

Internationally, Perruzza represented the U-20 Canada National Team at the 2018 Concacaf Men's Under-20 Championship.
