TFC Head Coach Robin Fraser made a pair of changes from last Saturday’s lineup against Columbus Crew with Kobe Franklin and Theo Corbeanu replacing Raoul Petretta and Deandre Kerr.

The two Eastern Conference sides played out an evenly-contested opening half at the NFL stadium in Georgia. Saba Lobjanidze and Alexey Miranchuk were unable to convert for Atlanta inside the first 20 minutes, while Alonso Coello and Kevin Long came closest to breaking the deadlock for Toronto.

The Reds began the second half on the front foot, with Theo Corbeanu testing Atlanta’s resolve with three efforts within the opening 15 minutes of the restart.

Seeking a spark, TFC turned to Deandre Kerr and Raoul Petretta off the bench for Ola Brynhildsen and Kevin Long in the 63rdminute.

Twelve minutes later, a Five Stripes set-piece quicky turned into a counter-attack the other way, as Djordje Mihailovic carried the ball from his own half before delivering a dangerous cross that was headed over by Alonso Coello.

Toronto FC introduced Malik Henry, Kosi Thompson and Derrick Etienne Jr. in the closing stages, with Etienne Jr. marking his 50thappearance for the Reds against his former club, Atlanta United.

With neither side able to find a late breakthrough, Toronto and Atlanta shared a point each upon the final whistle, marking TFC’s third goalless draw of the season and their first since April 12.

Next up, the Reds play hosts to CF Montréal on Saturday, August 30, after recording a dominant 5-1 victory over their arch-rivals earlier in the season. Kick-off from BMO Field in Toronto, Ontario is set for 7:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast globally on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and on TSN5 in Canada.
