Toronto FC II announced Friday that the club has signed midfielder Aidan Daniels to a USL contract. As per club and league policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Since being called up in February, Aidan has faced every challenge head on displaying qualities that we are looking for in a young professional,” said Toronto FC II Head Coach Jason Bent. “We are pleased to add another graduate from the Kia Toronto FC Academy to our roster and watch him continue to develop as this USL season continues.”

Daniels, 17, has appeared in 16 matches, logging 1040 minutes this season for Toronto FC II. He was originally added to the TFC II player pool from the Kia Toronto FC Academy Senior team on March 25, 2016.
